The efficiency of Long-based P-type heterojunction solar cells doped with gallium was 26.12%
The results were confirmed by the Institute for Solar Energy Research (ISFH) in Hamelin, Germany, on a heterojunction solar cell based on M6 wafers.
Chinese PV module manufacturer Longji has announced that its M6 wafer-based gallium doped P-type heterojunction (HJT) solar cell has achieved a power conversion efficiency of 26.12%.
The open-circuit voltage of the cell is 750.2 mV, the short-circuit current is 11,271 mA, and the filling factor is 84.76%. The results were confirmed by the Institute for Solar Energy Research (ISFH) in Hamelin, Germany.
In March, LongI achieved an efficiency of 25.47 percent on the same solar cell. The company said the performance boost was due to improvements in the passivation process, but did not provide further details.
The Chinese manufacturer also achieved an efficiency of 26.5 percent for N-type heterojunction cells in June and a score of 25.19 percent for P-type TOPCon solar cells in July 2021. In June 2021, the company recorded an efficiency rating of 25.21% for a Type N TOPCon device.
Because we are very good partners with Longi, all our solar products are using Longi solar panels
By the way, this year we completed a great project, the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, with 616 solar light tower.
